What is Reiki
The word Reiki is of Japanese origin and broadly translates as Universal Life Source Energy and Wisdom.
It is said that the energy of Reiki can support anything or anyone, knowing itself where it is needed and how it can be utilised with no need for detailed direction or instruction.
Although Reiki will always flow directly to where it is needed and has been proven to treat individual areas, it will move through the whole person and can give a real boost to our sense of self and wellbeing by working quietly on the causes that underpin any symptoms.
Reiki wisely and gently reminds us of this natural ability by helping to create energy within which restores the natural harmony between the different parts of us. Along the way, it helps to transform or dissolve dense energy held within the body, relaxing and supporting us to return more fully to a place of wholeness.
